Saturday reflection: Sheltered in place

These days, there is a narrative being written that runs along the backdrop of our day-to-day existence, just beyond teaching classes, attending meetings, correcting papers, preparing meals, taking care of loved ones – all the necessary to-do list items that frame our lives.

Poet David Whyte reminds us the salient story is “just beyond yourself.”

He speaks: “It’s where you need to be.”

I tried to capture in words, images and music the emerging narrative “just beyond myself” in this video entitled: “Sheltered-In-Place.”
