The provincial team is pleased to welcome Meg Beugg as the new mission advancement associate for the United States – Canada Province, after having served the province in a temporary capacity.

As the newest member of the provincial administrative staff, she brings with her a wealth of experience and Sacred Heart connections, as well as a great love for the mission of the Society of the Sacred Heart.

A lay Associate since 2005, Meg Beugg is a Sacred Heart graduate (Villa Duchesne ‘87) and has served in positions at two Network of Sacred Heart schools and one Jesuit school. She has also worked as a consultant with Contact Management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and served as the first director of development at the Catholic Student Center at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Meg has attended a multitude of spirituality forums and RSCJ-led retreats throughout her time as an Associate. She has also visited many Network schools, including Sacred Heart Primary in Kyamusansala, Uganda, as well as three of our schools in Mexico. She loves connecting with the Sacred Heart family across generations.

Meg expressed it has been an honor to witness first-hand the generosity of our alumnae/i, colleagues, families of our RSCJ, and friends of the Society through our annual appeal this fall. She says that it has been a special privilege to feel so connected to and pray for each person who has donated.

“Seeing each gift has been a deeply personal experience for me, while also being one of the strongest experiences of Cor Unum that I have experienced with the Society,” said Meg of her time working at the Provincial Office. “If you haven’t had the opportunity to give to the annual appeal of the Society of the Sacred Heart this year, I hope you will join me in making a donation of any amount today. I just made my gift last week!”

Meg has loved working closely with Anne Wiehagen, CFRE, director of mission advancement, who has served the Society since 2007 and Eliza Lynn, mission advancement manager, who has served the Society since 2014. She said their deep love for the mission and for our sisters has inspired her daily. Anne and Eliza are thrilled to have Meg join the mission advancement team and look forward to all the ways she will impact their work together.

Meg looks forward to connecting with you! You can reach her at mbeugg@rscj.org.
