She is survived by one brother, John (Esme) of Winnipeg, and by several beloved nephews and nieces in Canada and the USA.

She was born on July 7, 1928, in Lafayette, Louisiana, to Mildred Louise Bechet and Francis Xavier Mouton. She was preceded by two brothers, and later followed by a little sister—all of whom remained close during their lives. Lyn, as she was always called, spoke of a delightfully happy home, filled with joy and laughter.

Ada was born in Sarasota, Florida, on September 20, 1928, to Edwin Oscar Burns and Elizabeth Stevens Burns. She graduated from Notre Dame High School located in Belmont, California in 1946, and entered the Society of the Sacred Heart in February of 1947 at Kenwood in Albany, New York.
