As an educator at Villa Duchesne since 2000 and through my wife, Lisa, I have experienced many wonderful women who are part of the RSCJ. Their lives beat to the drum of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. That drumbeat is something that I've always picked up in their presence. When I am around these special women, I am always greeted by someone alive in Christ, wanting to be engaged, wanting to share that beat with me. This has inspired my teaching, and I am proud to have known several RSCJ who carry on the wonderful legacy of Philippine, Madeleine Sophie, and Janet. I thank God for them. I include a picture of Lisa and me with Sr. Anna Mae Marheineke, a special person that Lisa introduced me to and from whom I always felt such a strong heartbeat of faith. Thank you to all the RSCJs and other religious sisters who have impacted my life!
