  • Community. Love. Hope. Vision. Opportunity. These, among many others, were some of the words that our guests used to describe the SacredHeartDNA project during its launch party on Friday, February 24.
  • SacredHeartDNA aims to create spaces and opportunities for young adults and RSCJ to connect, grow in faith, build community and take action.
  • “As educators for justice, we are committed to reflection, critical analysis and action in order to effect changes in the root causes and systems that endanger our planet and those who are most vulnerable. As we search for solutions we acknowledge the importance of listening to the voices of those who are most affected by the abuse of our common home. All our actions must be inspired by this spiritual and moral imperative.” — Being Artisans of Hope in our Blessed and Broken World, p.10
  • The Season of Creation is the annual Christian celebration of prayer and action for our common home. Together, the ecumenical family around the world unites to pray and protect God’s creation. The season starts on September 1, the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, and ends October 4, the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology.
