RSCJ, Associates, and Mission Partners attend last USC Province Assembly
July 15-20, Religious of the Sacred Heart, Associates, and partners in the mission of the Society of the Sacred Heart gathered in St. Louis for the United States – Canada Province Post-Chapter Assembly 2025. The theme was “Transforming our Journey through Courage, Confidence & Hope.”
This was final Assembly before the USC province joins with the Provinces of Antilles and Mexico to form the new ANAM Province.

The Assembly focused on the outcomes of the General Chapter 2024—particularly moving toward the new province. Representatives of the three provinces that make up the ANAM Province were present, in addition to a member of the Society’s General Council, Noellina Namusisi, RSCJ. Cath Lloyd, RSCJ, from England, served as facilitator for the week.

Partners in mission present included: Associates, Sacred Heart alumnae, educators, USC Province staff, and Network of Sacred Heart Schools staff. They participated in the first two days of the gathering, and RSCJ continued to meet for four days. The week included panel discussions, table conversations, deep listening, reflection, and prayer. Love filled the room, each day.

All are invited to pray for the Society as all provinces walk the journey to form eight new provinces—living into the call from the Society’s General Chapter 2016 to “be One Body.”
