The Giving Fund
Elderly religious currently face the following challenges: an aging population, maturing infrastructure and escalating funds for long-term-care. We can help meet those challenges through the Giving Fund.
The Giving Fund is a $10 million fundraising initiative that provides the financing that sustains the ministries of the the Religious of the Sacred Heart and plans for the future care of their elderly sisters. The Westwood Renovation Project, which will be funded through this fundraising initiative, is an expansion and renovation of the Oakwood Facility in Atherton, California.
Why $10 Million?

Oakwood offers our elder sisters three levels of care. The Westwood renovation focuses on updating the infrastructure of the independent care community space. Improved lighting and plumbing, renovated bedrooms with private bathrooms, and a modernized kitchen and community room all will contribute to the quality of life for our sisters.
