As Religious of the Sacred Heart (RSCJ) we are called to follow Jesus in community, in the manner of our founder Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat. Deeply rooted in our relationship with Jesus, we affirm that life in community is a fundamental expression of our spirituality.

Religious of the Sacred Heart (RSCJ) live in community, and they seek to build community within their respective ministries and wider geographical communities. Associates of the Sacred Heart center around and grow together in community, whether in regional groups or virtually. The Network of Sacred Heart Schools member communities — educators and students at 25 schools — commit to the building of community as a Christian value, goal 3 of Sacred Heart Education.
