Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne: 200 Years

 

Join us for a Mass of Celebration commemorating the Bicentennial of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne's arrival in New Orleans in 1818. St. Philippine brought Sacred Heart education to the New World and founded Sacred Heart schools across the country. She began the mission of the Society of the Sacred Heart to make known the love of God though the heart of Jesus by educating young women.
