On July 10, 2021, Ruth Cunnings, RSCJ, professed her first vows in the Society of the Sacred Heart. The vow ceremony and liturgy, which took place at the Shrine of Saint Philippine Duchesne in St. Charles, Missouri, were live-streamed for friends, family and RSCJ who could not be present.

Our hearts go out to the people of Cuba, including our religious there, who are struggling for the basic necessities of life in the midst of a continuing surge of COVID-19 deaths.

Sister McGann's book, The Meal That Reconnects: Eucharistic Eating and the Global Food Crisis, and Sister Cimperman's book, Religious Life For Our World: Creating Communities of Hope, earned first place recognition in the categories of Catholic Social Teaching and Future Church, respectively.
