The Society of the Sacred Heart United States – Canada Province publications committee is delighted to announce the publication of the long awaited Transformed: One Congregation’s Response to the Second Vatican Council and the Calls of the World. Commissioned by Superior General Barbara Dawson, RSCJ, when she was provincial of the USC Province, this book describes the experiences of those RSCJ who took advantage of the abolition of cloister in 1964 to begin new apostolates with diverse populations.
