Jasmine Harris Smith, an alumna of Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami, Florida, almost lost her chance to attend Loyola University New Orleans. When parents of her classmates at Carrollton heard her story, one of the moms set up a YouCaring.com crowdfunding page.
