Religious of the Sacred Heart, Adele Caire, RSCJ, died July 22, 2020, in Atherton, California. She was 97 years old, and a religious of the Society of the Sacred Heart for 74 years. Affectionately known as “Delly,” Sister Caire was born in Edgard, Louisiana, on August 1, 1923, to Sidney and Annette Frances Jones Caire. She was one of 12 children and one of three who entered the Society of the Sacred Heart. She also had an aunt who was a member of the Society.
